You can buy this for just £9.99 in the UK. We usually see that if there is a collaboration of brands with top notch Bloggers or Celebs, the prices of product becomes ridiculously high. Look how beautiful the shimmery shades look and some metallics have flakes of other metallic shades too.I have not seen any drugstore palette more beautiful than this. The other shades are very pigmented and shows up beautifully on my skin. I had trouble with just one eyeshadow (Soft shade) and that’s mainly because they were not showing up well on my Olive skin. The formula seems great as most of the shadows are very easily blendable. This 30 pan palette is full of creamy mattes, sheens and metallic eyeshadows. I have included swatches to give idea of shades 🙂
The palette comes with a plastic sheet that has all the names written (like we have with Sleek makeup palettes). It has 30 shades from lights to really dark ones, Jane has covered us all! She has also given names to each shade and names are very appropriate. Looks very chic and classy just like you expect from high end palettes! Which I think makes it very travel friendly (you need not carry a separate mirror). It comes with a full size mirror and a double ended brush
Casing is made of plastic but has gold matte paint which makes it stand out among traditional MUR palettes. MUR has really amped up the packaging for this launch.and I can see Jane wanted nothing else but PERFECTION! The palette comes in gold card box with some embossed round logo detail.
I received mine on 16th but most people got it on 17th March so the Instagram, Twitter and Youtube was filled with images and videos of this palette (that’s very clever of MUR!!!) The official launch date was 17th March but Makeup Revolution launched it on 14th March exclusively on their website. Jane has been working on this since 2015 and she finally posted some pics about this palette early March 2016 (that is when she thought is the right time and the palette was ready to hit the market). This is Jane Cunningham aka British Beauty Blogger’s collaboration with Makeup Revolution London.
